Green Concept Award

Do you design the future?

Since 2013, the international Green Concept Award honours visionary design concepts for sustainable products, services and materials that are not (yet) on the market. The award is aimed at young designers, start-ups and established companies.

Participants receive feedback from a jury of experts and nominees benefit from many advantages to take their sustainable projects to the next level. For projects that are already on the market, there is the Green Product Award.

The Green Future Club's Green Cells program offers support before, during and after submission.

Why participate?

Perspectives & Benefits

The Green Concept Award offers all the advantages of a good award (award in 3 stages - 1. nominees, 2. winners 3. category winners and associated benefits (see list).

One Highlight is the participation at Dutch Design Week, where selected concepts will be showcased. As the event takes place before the final deadline, they are drafted from last year and submissions coming in within the early submission phase ending August 4th.

In addition, the Green Future Club (an association of sustainable industry experts, manufacturers, media representatives, investors,...) in cooperation with the IKEA Stiftung supports young designers in multiple ways: They get support during the development and elaboration of their sustainable concepts. (see free Green Cells workshops). Selected designers receive a special special start-up mentoring and a free membership to the Green Future Club.

Finally three recommendations:
